Z-Communications’ SFS10000C-LF is a new RoHS compliant, fixed frequency synthesiser, an X-band device that operates at 10 GHz.
It features a typical phase noise of -100 dBc/Hz @ 10 kHz offset and typical sideband spurs of -70 dBc.
The device is designed to deliver typical output power of 0 dBm with a VCO voltage supply of 5 V d.c. while drawing 90 mA and a phase locked loop voltage of 3 V d.c. while drawing 11 mA over the temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The frequency synthesiser features typical second harmonic suppression of -30 dBc and comes in Z-Comm’s SFS-L1 package measuring 25,4 x 25,4 x 5,6 mm. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements and is suitable for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
