The PCI-1800LU/1800HU is a high-performance, multifunction PCI card providing high-speed analog I/O and digital I/O functions.
Developed by ICP DAS, the board has a universal PCI interface supporting both 3,3 V and 5 V PCI bus, and it features a continuous, 330 KSps or 44 KSps, 12-bit resolution A/D converter, 1 kilosample hardware FIFO, a MagicScan controller (for multichannel scan), 2-channel 12-bit D/A converter, 16-channel digital input and 16-channel digital output. The card provides either 16-channel single-ended or 8-channel differential analog inputs which are jumper selectable, and a programmable high-speed PGA is equipped for gain controls (0,5/1/2/4/8 for low gain, 0,5/1/5/10/50/100/500/ 1000 for high gain).
The PCI-1800LU/HU also adds a card ID switch and pull-high/low resisters for DI onboard. Users can set card ID on a board and recognise the board by the ID via software when using two or more cards in one computer. The pull-high/pull-low resisters are used to specify the DI status; when the DI channels are unconnected, the DI status will remain in predefined status without being left floating.
The associated software supports various operating systems such as Linux, DOS, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows NT and Windows XP/2003/Vista/2008/7 32/64-bit. It also provides the DLL, ActiveX control and various language sample programs for Turbo C++, Borland C++, Microsoft C++, Visual C++, Borland Delphi, Borland C++ Builder, Visual Basic, C#.NET, Visual Basic.NET and LabVIEW to aid application development.
