Infineon Technologies has announced four new members of its wireless BlueMoon solution: 'BlueMoon Single' combines baseband DSP, radio functionality, memory and software, in one chip and is aimed at applications requiring Bluetooth functionality in small form factor such as cellular phones and personal digital assistants; 'BlueMoon Single Voice' is a turnkey, single-chip solution for headset applications, comprising a high-performance, full duplex voice codec, power management and charging control as well as the complete headset profile with a customisable man-machine interface; 'BlueMoon Multimedia' chipset is designed for sophisticated PC and multimedia applications, and integrates an ARM7 µC and includes a Software API-enabling host and application SW integration; 'BlueMoon BlueStar' IP is a fully synthesisable VHDL core together with compilable Link Manager Software in C source code enabling fast integration of Bluetooth functionality into ASIC and high-volume applications.
