Single board computer

25 May 2011 Computer/Embedded Technology

AAEON’s FSB-G41H single board computer (SBC) utilises the powerful Intel Core 2 Duo/Core2 Quad/Pentium D/Celeron LGA775 processors, with a front side bus (FSB) ranging from 800 to 1333 MHz. The graphic controller makes use of the Intel G41 integrated GMA X4500 graphics engine with maximum resolution on a CRT monitor of 2048 x 1536 (at 75 Hz).

The board provides memory expansion opportunities with two slots for 240-pin dual-channel DDR3 DIMM (up to 4 GB). And offers multiple data storage and I/O ports. It comes with an IDE slot, four SATA 3.0 Gb/s ports with RAID, two COM ports (one with RS232 and the other RS232/422/485), a Compact Flash slot, a floppy disk drive and seven USB 2.0 ports. It also equips standard PS/2 ports for a keyboard and mouse.

The FSB-G41H is targeted at applications such as network security, factory/machine automation, transportation/ITS, DVR/surveillance, telecom and application server.
