iWOW Connections has expanded its cellular product line with the compact TR-900C GSM/GPRS module in castellation form factor. This enables fully automatic assembly processes using a standard pick-and-place assembly line. Quality control is also simplified as the module’s mounting can be visually inspected on the manufacturing line.

The module features firmware with protocol stacks such as TCP/IP, UDP/IP and CMUX. It has an extended temperature range and features power management with selectable operation modes for power sensitive and demanding M2M applications. In addition, an RF interference mitigation feature for multiRF device design allows co-existence in the relevant frequency band.
