The XLamp XB-D is Cree’s newest lighting-class LED, delivering similar performance to the XP-G LED in a package that is 48% smaller than the XLamp XP footprint. Using Cree’s newest generation of silicon carbide-based LED chips, the new part is designed to lower system cost in any illumination application.
With up to 287 lm at 1000 mA (130 lm at 350 mA) and a low forward voltage of 2,9 V, the LED boasts 136 lm/W. It has low thermal resistance of 6,5°C/W, a viewing angle of 115° and is reflow solderable. The XB-D is available in 2600 to 8300 K CCT range and up to 80 CRI, and offers an electrically neutral thermal path. At only 2,45 mm square it is Cree’s smallest lighting-class LED yet.
