The RSB-4210 CPU board from Advantech consumes just 4 Watts of power, has a wide input range (9–24 V d.c.), is available with wide temperature specifications and has drivers for embedded Linux, Android and Windows CE7.
With ports for USB, serial (RS-232 and RS-485), CAN-bus, SATA, LAN and VGA, this board is ideal for solar, vehicle, embedded and other low-power projects. Sized at only 146 x 102 mm, it can easily be fitted in battery operated instruments. The choice of three operating systems makes it well suited for development environments.
The board features Freescale’s ARM Cortex-A8 i.MX53 1 GHz processor and supports OpenGL ES 2.0 and OpenVG 1.1 hardware accelerators. It also supports full HD 1080p video decode and HD 720p video encode hardware engine. LCD, touch, UART, I²C, SPI, GPIO, USB, VGA and HDMI I/O interfaces are provided.
