Military-grade cabinets

5 September 2012 Enclosures, Racks, Cabinets & Panel Products

Schroff’s Varistar MIL 901D range of 19” ruggedised cabinets covers most military demands in terms of shock and vibration. They are certified and tested to MIL-STD-901D, making them capable of handling extreme stresses, as well as being robust and reliable for mobile use.

The cabinets are shielded against high-frequency interference (60 dB at 1 GHz, 40 dB at 3 GHz). They are protected against dust and water (IP55) and offer dual protection against corrosion with zinc-plated and powder-coated frames.

The cabinet is derived from the standard Varistar and has high-performance elastomer or cable elastic mountings for COTS equipment. It is available in a large selection of dimensions (height and depth) and with a large variety of accessories.
