Advantech's SPC-530 5U 20-slot, industrial grade PC server features up to six front-access, half-height disk drives for mass storage requirements in general server applications. The server can use the optional slim CD-ROM and floppy disk drive to improve the system installation and data accessibility.
The front-accessible hot-swap redundant 400 W ATX power supply provides the system with power failure protection and three hot-swap cooling fans inside the chassis offer maximum system reliability. An on-board alarm provides automatic detection and notification of power and fan failure. A passive backplane or an ATX motherboard can be accepted. The backplane form factor has the advantage of easy maintenance and the ability to provide additional slots for expansion. The motherboard version accommodates the server board with a Slot II Pentium III Xeon processor. This feature provides server-level performance for specific application needs.
The installation of a RAID card provides standard features such as hot-swap auto-rebuilding, hot spare drive operation and RAID level 0,1, 3 and 5 operation.
