USB to RS232 or RS422/485/530 adapter

Sealevel's SeaLINK USB serial I/O products provide a single USB to RS232 or RS422/485/530 serial port for providing USB connectivity to legacy or non-USB compliant devices. The SeaLINK adapters support standard PC data rates up to 460 Kbps (RS232) and up to 921,6 Kbps (RS422/485/530) for serial I/O requirements.

According to the manufacturer, the SeaLINK adapter is simply connected to the USB port and the device is immediately recognised by the system as a standard COM: port. The adapter is then connected to the target device (ie modem, serial printer, scale, bar code/mag stripe reader, etc) and then nonUSB peripherals can have the same connection simplicity and ease of use as USB-aware peripherals.

SeaLINK supports Windows 98/ME/2000 and included software simplifies data rate selection.
