Adeunis RF has developed a compact Wireless M-bus module incorporating an M-Bus software stack and an applications layer with counter and gateway profiles. With sensitivity of -117 dBm and radio power of 131 dBm, the device can be used to create a bidirectional digital link over distances up to 1000 m.
The module embeds a software stack that is interoperable and compatible with other Wireless M-bus products and offers an integrated applications layer. A starter kit is available which can be used to support users from development to on-site implementation.
Licensing costs are negated thanks to the device’s use of the 868/870 MHz licence-free frequency band. It is also pre-certified and compliant with the EN13757-4:2005 standard.
This product covers most metering applications requiring short-range communication based on the M-bus protocol, such as meters, concentrators and remote reading systems.
