As part of its NeoTAG product range, Neosid produces a range of RFID tags in three different formats to suit various application requirements.

NeoTAG Inlay.

NeoTAG Inlay is the most compact and basic version, with a footprint of 2,6 x 2,4 mm; NeoTAG Plug adds a press-fit case to its design for easy assembly and measures 4,35 x 3,6 mm; and NeoTAG SMD is housed in a surface-mount package for automated insertion by assembly machines.

All variants exhibit the same performance characteristics, operating at 13,56 MHz with a wide reading range. They are vibration resistant and drop-resistant 100 times from a height of 2 m onto concrete. Temperature resistance is 275°C for 15 minutes and 220°C for 2 hours.

The tags are sterilisable and autoclavable, and are available in memory capacities up to 896 bits, and are available in read-write (standard) or read-only format. They are supplied on carrier tape.
