Tallysman Wireless has added the TW4600 antenna to its line of Iridium certified products, hailing it as the smallest dual-feed, high-performance Iridium antenna available. The wideband dual-feed patch element has an excellent axial ratio across the entire Iridium bandwidth. Unlike single-feed antennas, it provides excellent multipath rejection and a truly circular transmission response across the Iridium band.
Housed in a compact IP67 magnetic mount enclosure, it is available with a 50 cm coaxial cable that allows for an Iridium modem to be mounted away from the weather while still providing excellent communications coverage. It is well suited for Iridium satellite communications applications; sea and land container tracking; military and security establishments; fleet management and asset tracking; marine and avionics systems; and law enforcement.
