The GNS603 from GNS is a small, autonomous GPS receiver with a finely tuned, high-sensitivity patch ceramic antenna. Its navigation performance and accuracy are further improved by using correction data from SBAS (WAAS, EGNOS, GAGAN, MSAS, QZSS). The device provides extra embedded functionality for connection of an external active GPS antenna. An automatic antenna switching function and short circuit protection are provided by means of a software antenna status message system called Antenna Advisor, which indicates different states of the connected antenna. The GNS603 offers tracking sensitivity down to -165 dBm and an update rate of up to 10 per second. It features an embedded logger function with 16 hours of internal memory.
