Easy-to-assemble handheld cases

CamdenBoss has launched a new range of handheld enclosures designed for use in battery-powered portable electronics applications. Featuring a unique design for quick and easy assembly, the new 66 series Grip Cases are moulded in black or light grey, high-impact ABS with UL94-V0 rating.

The cases feature screwless assembly via four soft-grip corners in TPE coated polypropylene. The corners are available in seven colours – red, orange, yellow, green, blue, grey and black – as standard to match corporate styles/logos. Custom colours are available to special order.

Features include a standardised battery compartment across the range including the smaller sizes, an enhanced EPDM rubber gasket to ensure easy fitting for IP65 leak proof protection (IP62 without gasket), optional retaining screws for additional security, recesses in the lid and base for membrane keypads or overlays, and PCB pillars in the lid and base.

Six sizes are available measuring 145 x 95 x 25 mm, 145 x 95 x 35 mm, 185 x 110 x 25 mm, 185 x 110 x 35 mm, 200 x 120 x 25 mm and 200 x 120 x 35 mm. Each size can be supplied with or without a battery compartment for PP3 or AA formats. A retaining screw for the battery door is provided as standard where appropriate.
