Bluetooth Smart/ANT SoCs

19 November 2014 Telecoms, Datacoms, Wireless, IoT

Nordic Semiconductor has upgraded its award-winning nRF51 systems-on-chip (SoC) with 32 KB RAM – double what was available before – and 128 KB Flash wafer level chip scale package (WLCSP) options. The improvements are available for the nRF51822 Bluetooth Smart and 2,4 GHz proprietary SoC and the nRF51422 ANT and ANT/Bluetooth Smart SoC. The ICs integrate a multiprotocol radio, 32-bit ARM Cortex M0 processor, up to 256 KB Flash memory and RAM. Their software architecture features powerful separation between protocol stack and user application code.
