16 bit serial ADC accepts uni and bipolar inputs

Linear Technology's LTC1609 is a serial 16 bit ADC with a flexible input that can be configured for multiple unipolar or bipolar input ranges on a single 5 V supply. It accepts bipolar inputs of ±10, ±5 and ±3,3 V and unipolar inputs of 0 to 10, 0 to 5 and 0 to 4 V. Each range is guaranteed for 16 bits no missing codes and ±2LSB INL at a sample rate up to 200 KSa/s. The LTC1609 allows users to clock out the data using either the internal serial shift clock or an external shift clock. The device consumes 65 mW. The LTC1609 is available in 28-pin SSOP and SOIC packages.
