A heavy-duty, multi-board industrial controller solution has been introduced in the form of Tri-M Technologies’ HECS 1000.
Ideal for applications in the mining, military, aerospace and transportation sectors, it is qualified to Mil Std 810 in terms of shock, vibration and temperature durability, and is available with an optional power supply compliant to transient surge protection per Mil Std 1275.
Consuming less than 5 Watts of power, the system runs on an 800 MHz Vortex86DX CPU with 512 MB DDR2 RAM. It features a CompactFlash socket, four RS-232 ports, one isolated RS-485 port, two isolated CAN-bus ports, two multi-tech universal sockets and five isolated LED ports.
