TTI is now stocking FCI’s new NQ SMT wire-to-board spring clamp system. Versatile and robust, the clamps have a compact design only 5,00 mm high which saves valuable PCB space and makes them well suited for space-constrained applications such as LED devices and LED lighting modules. It is also a cost-effective solution for consumer electronics and factory automation applications.
The system features secure electrical contacts with low wire insertion and high wire retention forces. It has a lever latch to facilitate wire extraction, saving time and effort. The NQ SMT range is available in two contact pitch sizes: 2,5 mm with a current rating of 5 A (150 V) and 4,0 mm with a current rating of 7 A (300 V), both in AWG solid wire or AWG stranded wire gauges 20 – 24 and 18 – 22.
Both models in the range have one to ten contact positions and are end-to-end stackable. They are supplied on tape-and-reel packaging for automated manufacturing processes.
