1U/2U dual Pentium III server chassis

24 October 2001 Computer/Embedded Technology

ICP's high-end dual Pentium III server, the EC-1010/1020 series, is a rack-mount server series designed with superior air ventilation, three fast Ethernet ports and RAID capability to deliver the high performance and high reliability, yet remaining simple to use and manage. This 1U/2U server series can stack up for 42 or 21 systems in a server tower, especially designed for companies who need multiple servers, or have lack of space.

The EC-1010/1020 series server incorporates an innovative LCD/LED monitor to indicate custom messages such as Fan, LAN on-line, HDD and system self-indication. The LCD/LED indicator with embedded alarm board automatically monitors the system to ensure smooth running. The front panel displayed messages allow IT engineers to easily identify each system and find out what caused a problem.

This server series with ATX power supply capability and PFC function has a removable design for user-friendly maintenance. For drive bay space, two 3,5" types, and HDD bay inside provide both IDE interface and SCSI interface to support ATA-66 interface and SCA HDD. The EC-1010/1020 is designed with one slim CD-ROM and one FDD.

The standard ATX motherboard (MB-3792G) in the EC-series, provides: one 1000 Mbps and dual 10/100 Mbps Ethernet, dual ATA-100 IDE ports and extra dual ATA-100 ports with RAID function. It is able to run with dual Pentium III CPU (133 MHz FSB) and system memory up to 2 GB SDRAM. It is equipped with one PCI slot for extended interface and one CompactFlash Type II socket.
