ICP has wielded its strong R&D capability to develop a full size SBC with AMD CPU inside. The Rocky-772EV is available with AMD processor that features a very good price/performance ratio and also provides high computing power according to the manufacturer.
Supporting AMD's Athlon/Duron 200/266 FSB processor is employed. The Athlon/Duron CPU has been estimated as one of the fastest, most robust PC components, selected by many leading companies in the computer industry, says ICP. Using innovative techniques to design the AMD-based single board computer, the Rocky-772EV provides high performance for mission-critical computing applications.
The VIA KL133A chipset integrates with S3 Savage4 graphic core to have superior video and graphic performance. It offers full AGP 4X and 2D/3D resolutions up to 1920x1440, and the V-RAM can share with system memory up to 32 MB RAM, which can provide high quality DVD video playback.
For the increasing use in server applications, the Rocky-772EV also features its dual LAN design, empowered with two ports to provide high-speed transmission for server use. The customised design provides a flexible choice from Intel 82559 and Realtek 8100 LAN chips.
Suited for many applications such as telecommunications, networking and automation applications, it is also ideal for CTI, high end industrial control, and also for specialised servers that need to be ultra-reliable.
