Falcom's Twist and Swing are plug-and-play dual band devices especially designed for mobile office applications and wireless access to the Internet. The V24 serial interface together with the FALCOM Windows driver and the Dual Band GSM antenna make these units suited for easy implementation of GSM functionality into PC or laptop-based environments.
The Falcom application software yields comfortable man-machine-interface (MMI) operation for end users without strong technical background, making the Twist and Swing concepts attractive for mobile network operators and other mobile service providers. Additional test and evaluation software tools enable system integrators to quickly develop compact solutions for industrial applications requiring mobile wireless information exchange eg remote object control and monitoring, security, power metering.
The Falcom Swing has integrated 1200 mAh Li-Ion backup-battery with charging circuitry and its car voltage range power supply makes mobile implementation easier. Versatile accessories like headset, different handsets, power adapter and external dual-band antennas are available.
The modems also feature: data, SMS, fax, voice; V24 RS232 and audio interface; application software and Windows drivers.
