Holt Integrated Circuits announced a low-profile 3,3 V MIL-STD-1553 terminal solution, designed specifically to meet the component height requirements of Switched Mezzanine Card (XMC) and PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC) assemblies. Measuring just 15 x 15 x 4,4 mm, the HI-2130LBxx has integrated transformers and is available in both RoHS compliant and Sn/Pb BGA configurations. Supporting a 16-bit parallel bus or SPI 4-wire serial host interface, it contains a bus controller, a bus monitor terminal and two independent remote terminals. Any combination of these terminal modes can be enabled for single or concurrent terminal operation. The enabled terminals communicate with the MIL-STD-1553 buses through integral dual bus transceivers and transformers.
