The SIM7000E from SIMCom is a tri-band LTE-FDD and dual-band GPRS/EDGE module solution in an SMT package which supports LTE CAT-M1(eMTC) and NB-IoT up to 375 Kbps data transfer. The module features extension capability with interfaces including UART, USB 2.0, GPIO etc.
The module supports GNSS (global navigation satellite systems) in the form of GPS, GLONASS and BeiDou/Compass, Galileo, QZSS, and comes with a USB driver for Microsoft Windows/Linux/Android. Measuring 24 x 24 x 2,6 mm, the module can be powered from a 3,0 to 4,3 V source and is rated for operation from -40°C to +85°C.
The package of the SIM7000E is compatible with the SIM900 and SIM800F, while AT commands of the SIM7000E are mostly compatible with the SIM800F.
