The RHM031 and RHM032 transmitter and receiver pair is a medium range (up to 5 km, line of site) single channel radio remote control available from Rotrax Technologies. Primarily designed for applications where remote switching or monitoring is needed and simple installation is desired, the units are housed in 40 mm plastic tubes, 45 cm long. All the RF circuitry including the antenna is housed in the tube, thereby doing away with the need for expensive RF cable and specialised connectors. There is no limit to the number of units installed on one site; this is due to the fact that each pair has a unique ID number. All data communication protocols are completely transparent to the user; the system works simply by applying a logic condition at the transmitter and a relay activating at the receiver. The system requires a regulated 12 V d.c. power supply, rated at 500 mA.
