Three Ethernet switching hubs
24 April 2002
Computer/Embedded Technology
The Sky Hawk Computer Group, represented locally by Pyramid PC-Technic, supplies three models of Ethernet switching hubs that support 8, 16 or 24 users having transfer rates of 10/100 Mbps.
The Net1008 and Net1016 each have an uplink port enabling switch to hub or switch to switch linking using the RJ45 N/way port, while the Net1024 is the only model that has an automatic MDI/MDIX crossover linkage on all ports and is stackable. An added feature of all three models is support for flow and broadcast storm control as well as store-and-forward.
The Net1008, Net1016 and Net1024 have 2, 4 and 96 MB buffer support respectively, and data processing is displayed using diagnostic LEDs. Emission is at FCC Class A, and is CE-approved. All units are powered internally with 100-240 V a.c., 50-60 Hz power supplies, and are enclosed in an aluminium alloy housing.
The Net1008 measures 210 mm (W) x 115 mm (D) x 40 mm (H) while the Net1016 and Net1024 are identical in size measuring 432 mm (W) x 237 mm (D) x 44,5 mm (H). The weights of the units are 700, 1300 and 1390 g respectively. All three units are covered with a three-year exchange warranty.
