Computer/Embedded Technology
The RCM2200 Ethernet microprocessor core module from Rabbit Semiconductor is designed to aid rapid development of embedded systems with integrated Ethernet connectivity. The RabbitCore (59x41x22 mm) mounts on a user-designed motherboard and acts as the controlling microprocessor. This integrated Ethernet port frees designers from limitations of serial-port communications and control. Embedded systems using the RabbitCore can be controlled and monitored, as well as programmed and debugged (with appropriate accessory hardware) across any network or Internet. RCM2200 includes: 256 K Flash memory, 128 K SRAM, plus external memory addressing capability; RJ45 jack; two 26-pin headers provide 32 parallel user I/O lines shared with three serial ports, a fourth serial port and three additional I/O lines are also available on the programming header.
