1U Dual Pentium III server

19 June 2002 Computer/Embedded Technology

ICP's high end Dual Pentium III server, EC-1010/1020 rack-mount server series, is designed with superior air ventilation, three fast Ethernet ability, and RAID capability to deliver high performance and reliability, while remaining simple to use and easy to manage. This 1U/2U server series can stack up for 42 or 21 systems in a server tower, especially designed for companies who need multiple servers, or lack of available space. Hence, EC-1010 server is an ideal affordable turnkey solution for modern networking server appliance applications.

The EC-1010/1020 series server especially designed an innovative LCD/LED monitor to indicate custom messages such as fan, LAN on-line, HDD, and system self-indication. The LCD/LED indicator and embedded alarm board inside automatically monitor the system to ensure smooth running. With the displayed messages on the front panel and system alarm, IT engineers can easily identify each system and find out what problem occurred for easy maintenance and quick trouble-shooting.

The series provides ATX power supply capability with PFC function, it has a removable design for friendly maintenance. Two types of 3,5" HDD bays inside provide both IDE interface and SCSI interface to support ATA-66 interface and SCA HDD. The EC-1010/1020 is designed with one slim CD-ROM as well as one FDD for versatile application purposes.
