CompactPCI Ethernet packet switched integrated system

Elma Trenew Electronic has introduced a new integrated system based on PICMG 2.16 (IP backplane for CompactPCI). Applications built on this specification can now easily be validated. In particular, different kinds of cards that support standard CPCI, PICMG 2.16, PICMG 2.5 (computer telephony) or a combination of these standards can be tested.

Two pluggable power supplies can be used in a parallel or redundant mode and provide the 16-slot backplane (two fabric and 14 nodeslots) with power input. Both are assembled in a comfortable 7U chassis. Additional options are provided to support hot swap changes.

Target markets are in IT application servers, ISPs, Web cluster servers, datacoms, telecoms and network switched systems.
