Advantech's industrial computing platform, the IPC-611, is available in a 14-slot passive-backplane or ATX motherboard factor. The IPC-611 chassis provides high performance. Geared towards building-blocks and mission-critical applications, this rugged all-steel chassis meets EIA RS-310C 19" rack-mount standard.
This 4U 14-slot rack-mount chassis comes equipped with four shockproof and front-accessible drive bays including three 5,25" and one 3,5". Front accessible cooling fan and fan filter provides not only abundant cooling but also an easy maintenance mechanism. For high-density applications in a rack, the IPC-611 supports either the full-length 14-slot backplane or 12" x 9,6" motherboards. To meet various application development, a wide range of standard computing peripherals can be added to the IPC-611.
This chassis is an ideal platform for industrial automation and computer telephony applications, where high availability is required. It can serve as a platform for multiple-call processing, and provide total solution that links a messaging architecture with an industrial networking infrastructure.
