Ruggedised frequency synthesisers

25 November 2020 Telecoms, Datacoms, Wireless, IoT

EM Research's THOR series is a line of frequency synthesisers designed for optimal performance in even the harshest environments. With extensive ruggedisation options and the option of hermetic sealing, THOR is tough enough for customers to rely on in any situation.

This highly adaptable frequency synthesiser is available in both programmable and fixed-frequency packages, with a large portfolio of configurable designs to choose from.

The THOR-7500-09 programmable model comes in a 6,35 x 2,79 x 1 cm module-mount package, and covers the frequency range of 6200 to 7500 MHz. This miniature C-band synthesiser features high shock and vibration tolerance, and has extensive ruggedisation options.

The THOR-13960-03 programmable frequency synthesiser comes in an identically sized module-mount package, and covers the frequency range of 12 580 to 13 960 MHz. This miniature Ku-band synthesiser features high shock and vibration tolerance, and has extensive ruggedisation options.
