The AM1100, made by Atlanta Micro, is a wideband cascadable gain block covering the 2 GHz to 26,5 GHz frequency range. It is a low SWaP (size, weight and power) device drawing less than 100 mW of power and packaged in a 3 mm QFN with internal 50 Ω matching.
The device’s low noise figure (2,2 dB) and wideband operation makes it an excellent choice for many broadband receiver applications. It operates from a 3,3 V source across the -40°C to +85°C temperature range and exhibits 11,5 dB gain, +23 dBm OIP3 and +12 dBm P1dB.
Also available is the AM1109 low-noise amplifier (LNA) with similar characteristics but servicing the 2 to 20 GHz frequency range, consuming 178 mW and featuring 14 dB gain, 2 dB noise figure, +30 dBm OIP3 and +16 dB P1dB.
