Wi-Fi HaLow FGH100M-H

28 February 2025 Telecoms, Datacoms, Wireless, IoT

Wi-Fi HaLow is an open, standard Wi-Fi technology operating in the license-exempt sub-1 GHz range. The FGH100M-H Wi-Fi HaLow module is a long-range, low-power module from Quectel, compliant with the IEEE 802.11ah standard.

The FGH100M-H operates in the 902–928 MHz frequency band with a channel width of 1/2/4/8 MHz. Its maximum physical rate is 32,5 Mbps, and its theoretical maximum output power is 27 dBm. Based on the sub-1 GHz frequency band, the module has greater coverage and penetration performance, extending the reach of smart home or smart city networks and enabling users to control IoT devices in a radius of 1 km.

The FGH100M-H supports large-capacity access, enabling simultaneous access of up to 8191 devices to the same Wi-Fi access point.
