The TWIMO MP868 from Adeunis is a surface-mount RF module optimised for low-power communications over a range of up to 1 km in the 868 MHz ISM band, at speeds up to 57,6 Kbps. It is available ready-to-use or as a programmable version with an API library providing a large set of transmission modes and features.
The 50 mW module offers several usage modes for implementation of simplified bidirectional data transmissions in point-to-multipoint applications. It features an embedded STM32 ARM Cortex-M3 micro-controller and operates off a 3–3,6 V power supply with consumption of 20 μA in standby, 18 mA in receive mode and 150 mA in transmit mode (when transmitting its full 17 dBm potential).
RF sensitivity is -110 dBm and interfaces include UART, I²C, SPI, analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters and PWM timers. Thanks to a common footprint, the MP868 is compatible with all modules in the TWIMO product range.
