Quectel’s M95 is one of the smallest quad-band 850/900/1800/1900 GSM/GPRS surface mounted modules on the market. With LCC package technology, it provides a compact configuration of 19,9 x 23,6 x 2,6 mm and can be embedded in customer applications. The device comes in two versions – the M95A and the M95EB – with the latter featuring a dual SIM interface not possessed by the former.
Featuring an industry-standard interface, the M95 delivers GSM/GPRS performance for data, voice and SMS with low power consumption, extended temperature range and compact profile. It is designed to meet the M2M requirements of VTS, personal tracking, wireless POS, smart metering, industrial PDA and many other applications.
The M95 also supports Queclocator, a location-based service which uses triangulation to provide longitude and latitude positioning. This is a free service provided by Quectel.
