New from Skyworks is a single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) switch that is qualified to the Automotive Electronics Council (AEC) Q100 standard.

The SKYA2001 features low insertion loss (0,4 dB at 2,4 GHz) and positive voltage operation with very low DC power consumption (10 µA). It is ideal for automotive applications such as infotainment, telematics, automated toll systems, garage door openers, 802.11b/g/n WLAN, Bluetooth systems, remote keyless entry (RKE) and GPS/navigation.

It is also suitable for industrial applications including outdoor lighting control and wireless control systems, and for aerospace and defence applications requiring enhanced robustness, but not full military qualification. The SKYA21001 is manufactured in a 2 x 1,25 mm, 6-pin SC-70 package.
