LoRaWAN compliant module

10 August 2016 Telecoms, Datacoms, Wireless, IoT

Globalsat’s LM-130 is a LoRaWAN compliant wireless communication module suitable for SMT production. It is a low-power, half-duplex module which can wirelessly transmit data over long distances.

The device incorporates a high-speed microcontroller and SX1276 modulation chipset which adopts a forward error correction technique that greatly improves interference immunity and advances sensitivity. The coding can detect and automatically filter out errors and false data.

The LM-130 fully complies with the LoRaWAN specification and can work with any compliant gateway. It is suitable for M2M applications, especially where long-distance transmission or use in harsh environments is required. Frequency ranges supported are 410-525 MHz and 862–1020 MHz.
