Digital-Logic offers one of the smallest and quietest PCs for industrial and professional applications. The computer is remarkable for its small dimensions of only 159 x 148 x 66 mm (2 kg) and its aesthetic design. It is equipped with the latest low-consumption components, and uses powerful low-voltage Intel Pentium CPUs and a passive cooling system. Since no fan is installed, the noise level is extremely low.
The MPC30 model is based on a 700 MHz Intel PIII processor and has a 256 KB L2 cache and 256 MB memory. Also integrated are two PS/2 interfaces for keyboard and mouse, two USB interfaces, and ports for printer, COM1 and optional COM2. The PC is by default equipped with a 2,5" hard disk with a capacity of 20 GB and a DVD/CD Combo drive as mass storage media. Additional peripheral devices and mass storage media such as digital camera or DVD-RW can be connected via Firewire IEEE1394 to the front of the PC. In addition, the PC offers a 100/10Base-T (RJ45) LAN interface. The MPC30 also supports an optional smartcard reader that provides protection for booting and data access using a smartcard.
For display, the MPC30 supports an analog or LCD SVGA monitor via VGA connector or a television screen via TV-Out on the rear. It provides an optional LVDS port with a serial interface for special applications like digital LCDs with touch screen. The appropriate video BIOS (VGA, TV, LVDS) for the port used is loaded automatically.
Typical power consumption is 40 W, which goes down to 5 W in power-saving mode.
