WJ Communications, a leading designer and supplier of RF semiconductors and multichip modules, has announced it now offers lead (Pb)-free compliant products. First products to be offered in lead-free versions are the CV2xx- x series of downconverters and the VG1xx series of variable gain amplifiers. These devices are housed in the 28-pin 6 x 6 mm QFN package.
All WJ lead-free products are also RoHS compliant; green products are lead-free, RoHS compliant, and have limitations on other specific chemicals as well as being backward compatible with lead-based SMT processing.
