ZCommunications has released the PSA1450FLF, the first of a new series of fast switching and wide band fractional-N PLL synthesisers in a small surface mount package measuring 20 x 15 mm. The cutting-edge design scheme enables the achievement of very low spurious levels as low as 80 dBc.
The PSA1450FLF provides excellent phase noise with 90 dBc/Hz @ 1 kHz offset and 100 dBc/Hz @ 10 kHz offset when operated with a low phase noise reference of 32 MHz. The PSA1450FLF operates with a DC voltage of 5/15 V, Icc 20/40 mA and delivers high and flat output power of 6 ±2 dBm over 800 MHz band.
