Wi-Sys Communications has launched its new WS395X/WS396X embedded GPS antenna product family, featuring a tuned ceramic patch element that minimises detuning effects caused by adjacent objects, 15 kV ESD circuit protection, a low-noise dual LNA design and a single or dual out-of-band SAW filter. The WS395X versions come in a compact 28,4 mm square module and the WS396X variants come with a 45,2 mm diameter ground plane.
The WS3951 and WS3961 feature -28 dB gain, 0,5 dB noise, 8 mA consumption and a single SAW filter. The WS3951-HR and WS3961-HR have -25 dB gain, 3,1 dB noise, 8 mA consumption and a dual SAW filter. Finally, the WS3955 and WS3965 offer – 18dB gain, 0,8 dB noise, 2 mA consumption and a single SAW filter.
