Z-Communications has introduced a new lead-free, RoHS compliant, coaxial resonator oscillator, the CRO2545B-LF, in S band (2500 to 2590 MHz) offering an ultra low typical phase noise performance of -107 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset. This unique design offers a linear tuning sensitivity of 30 MHz/V and covers the range between 0,5 and 4,5 V. It has 2nd harmonic suppression of -20 dBc.
The oscillator is designed to deliver 5 dBm output power at 5 V d.c. supply while drawing 20 mA over the extended operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
The CRO2545B-LF comes in Z-Comm's industry standard MINI package measuring 12,7 x 12,7 x 5,6 mm. It is suited to automated surface mount assembly and reflow and is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements.
