The HMC682LP6C(E) and HMC683LP6C(E) from Hittite are high linearity, dual-channel down-converters with integrated LO amplifier in a 6 x 6 mm SMT QFN package. Both devices are targeted at applications such as cellular/3G, LTE, WiMAX, 4G, base-stations and repeaters, GSM, CDMA and OFDM, as well as dual density receivers.
The HMC682LP6C(E) covers the range from 1,7 to 2,2 GHz and offers input IP3 performance of +25 dBm for down-conversion in 3G and 4G GSM/CDMA applications at an LO drive of 0 dBm. With an input 1 dB compression of +15 dBm, the RF port will accept a wide range of input signal levels. Conversion gain is 6 dB typical. The 60 to 400 MHz IF frequency response will satisfy various GSM/CDMA receive frequency plans.
The HMC683LP6C(E) covers frequencies between 0,7 and 1,0 GHz and offers input IP3 performance of +23 dBm for down-conversion at an LO drive of 0 dBm. Input 1 dB compression is +11 dBm, with typical conversion gain of 7,5 dB. IF frequency response is in the range of 60 to 500 MHz.
