Tyco has released a family of three new low noise amplifiers (LNA) for the wireless market, operating in various frequency bands between 500 MHz and 3,0 GHz.
All three of these new LNAs achieves less than 1,0 dB noise figure and are ideal for a variety of applications including GPS, WiMAX, DAB, MoCA, and Mesh Network systems.
The MAAL-007304 and the MAAL-007306 are two-stage high-gain, self-biased designs which operate from single supply voltages between 3,0 and 5,0 V. The MAAL-007304 has 25 dB of gain with a noise figure of 0,7 dB and a current draw of only 12 mA. The MAAL-007306 has 27 dB of gain with a P1dB of 16 dBm and OIP3 of 27 dBm. It also has a noise figure of 0,7 dB with a current draw of 90 mA. Both devices are supplied in a RoHS compliant SOT-26 package.
The MAAL-008550 is a single-stage self-biased design which has 12,5 dB of gain, a noise figure of 0,7 dB and consumes only 7,5 mA from a 3,0 volt supply. It is packaged in a RoHS compliant SC70-6 lead package.
