Vectron has added a new 5 MHz SC-cut oven controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO) to its product range. Targeted at base station and SDH/SONET applications, the 10 mm profile C4500A1-0115 is designed for customers in the wireless and telecoms industries with stringent packaging density and high-performance requirements.
The OCXO, packaged in a 20 x 20 mm THT enclosure, offers stability of better than ±8 ppb, with less than 50 ppb ageing over six years. Typical phase noise at 5 MHz is -100 dBc/Hz at 1 Hz offset; -120 dBc/Hz at 10 Hz; -140 dBc/Hz at 100 Hz; -145 dBc/Hz at 1 kHz; and, -150 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz. LVCMOS and sine wave outputs are provided.
