Infineon’s TDA 5150 is a general-purpose ASK/FSK/GFSK RF transmitter covering a range of frequencies and power levels. It features multichannel and multiband capabilities through a fractional-n sigma-delta PLL. The 315, 434, 868 and 915 MHz ISM frequency bands are covered, with variable transmitter power levels of 5, 8 and 10 dBm. The device offers -20 to 0 dB tuning levels, with 2 dB steps. It is designed to extend the battery lifetime of battery powered system thanks to its wide voltage range of 1,9 to 3,6 V and low current consumption (less than 0,8 μA in sleep mode). Typical applications are automatic meter reading, wireless alarm and security systems, remote keyless entry (RKE), tyre pressure monitoring systems and short-range radio data transmitters.
