New from Analog Devices are tiny single-chip receivers incorporating HDMI specification version 1.4a support for 3D display resolutions and extended colorimetry. The ADV7611 low-power, 165 MHz receiver and the ADV7612 225 MHz, dual-port receiver with Xpressview fast switching technology are effective for HTIB (home theatre-in-a-box) systems, projectors, AVRs (audio/video receivers), HBR (high-bit-rate) TVs, matrix switches and sound bar speaker systems. The ADV7611 enables portable designers to achieve 1080p/60f display resolution with 24-bit colour. For high-performance A/V systems, the ADV7612 offers 1080p/60f display resolution with up to 36-bit Deep Colour and incorporates AD’s proprietary Xpressview fast switching technology, which enables seamless, automatic switching between HDMI-enabled devices in less than one second.
