Dual-slant dish antennas

13 April 2011 Telecoms, Datacoms, Wireless, IoT

Available in six new models that come in either two or three foot diameters, the antenna operates in the 4,9 to 5,875 GHz band. Options include configurations for two different gains and three different polarities:

* HDDA5W-29-SP – 29 dBi single polarity (horizontal or vertical).

* HDDA5W-29-DP2 – 29 dBi dual-slant, dual polarity (horizontal and vertical).

* HDDA5W-32-SP – 32 dBi single polarity (horizontal or vertical).

* HDDA5W-32-DP2 – 32 dBi dual-slant, dual polarity (horizontal and vertical).

The dish antenna incorporates a rugged design that contributes to a long operating service life in extreme environments. It meets ETSI EN 302.326-3 DN1-DN5 and EN 300 833 Class 1 specifications, the most stringent specifications for point-to-point backhaul antennas. The unique feed system is available in a single polarisation version which can be mounted for either vertical or horizontal polarisation. There is also a dual polarised version available for those systems which can utilise dual polarisation to increase bandwidth or implement diversity. An optional fibre-glass radome is available for added environmental protection.

The HDDA5W HD Series is designed for 802.11 applications, OFDM systems, cellular backhaul systems, point-to-point backhaul systems and public safety communications systems.
