LM Technologies’ LM410 is a long-range Bluetooth data module with an SMA connector for external antenna. The CSR BC04 Class 1 module comes with a 20-pin header for easy plug-and-play integration into a customer’s platform. It is suitable for serial port applications over a range of 100 to 600 metres (depending on the antenna) and comes with Bluetooth v2.0+EDR compliant SPP firmware. It is used in LM’s serial device server and employs hexadecimal commands for configuration.
The device supports full Bluetooth data rate up to 3 Mbps, as well as up to three simultaneous SPP connections while running a complete Bluetooth stack. The module measures 44 x 26 x 14 mm (without SMA connector).
