GLONASS/GPS receiver

28 September 2011 Telecoms, Datacoms, Wireless, IoT

SkyTraq’s new GG12A is a GLONASS/GPS receiver in a 17 x 22 mm package featuring 29 second cold start TTFF,

-146 dBm cold starting and -162 dBm tracking sensitivity. It has 12 tracking channels, capable of operating in GLONASS+GPS mode, GPS-only mode and GLONASS-only mode. Separate GPS and GLONASS search engines allows very fast acquisition of weak GLONASS and GPS signals concurrently. An advanced track engine enables continuous navigation in weak signal environments; combining multipath detection and mitigation signal processing, it is capable of continuous accurate navigation in difficult urban canyon and deep foliage environments.
